The LG G2 is one of the most intriguing device ever released by LG. It was a phone different from everything we had seen until the day it got released. Normally, you would expect a phone to have the volume and power buttons on the side of the body, be it at the bottom or on the sides.
The LG G2 was different. The volume buttons were on the back of the phone with the power key in between. Apart from having unique buttons that distinguished it from other devices, the LG G2 came with excellent specifications, most of the important ones being Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 for the fastest experience, 2 GB RAM, 5.2 inch Full HD display and 3000 mAh battery.
While LG reacted fast with the G3 by becoming one of the first OEMs to update its flagship to Lollipop, older phones such as the LG G2 didn’t have so much luck. LG reported that the Lollipop update would come out for the LG G2 shortly after, but this never happened and many users were left in disappointment.
If you are into custom ROMs, you don’t have for the company to get a taste of Lollipop. A team of developers called Team Bliss has developed a custom ROM called BlissPop. It is a highly customizable ROM that you can install on your mobile device and greatly improve its functionality.
BlissPop ROM is a modified version of CyanogenMod 12. CM12 is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and includes all the security fixes and updates. CyanogenMod 12 is already great by itself and Team Bliss has made it even better by adding new features, turning it into BlissPop ROM.
BlissPop ROM has a wide variety of options and you can customize basically everything, starting with the status bar, recent options (close all apps button), notification drawer, lockscreen options, power menu options and navigation bar.
There are a few extra settings like Pie Controls, Ambient Display, Toast Animations, Daydream, Adaptive Brightness, Screen Recorder, Double Tap To Sleep and controls to CPU and GPU.
